With the big TX vs Ohio state football game this weekend in Columbus OH on Saturday parking looks to be very tight. EGPH, Edinburgh, Scotland will have capacity cuts in effect from Nov 11th until Dec 10th per notam A5557/25. Arrival capacity will be reduced from 10/14 per hour. Significant runway closures will occur at TEB airport this weekend, please see the latest TEB notams for further details. Both MMMX and MMSM will be closed on 09/16 from 15-20z for Independence Day celebrations. So far, no impact to MMTO. Look for potential disruptions in France on 09/10 due to a nationwide protest called Bloquons Tout.
Critical weather days / geomagnetic storm outlook – none through Sunday.
Tropical cyclone outlook – TD 20W, 225 miles East of Da Nang, Vietnam, will make landfall around 06z tomorrow, well to the NW of Da Nang as a low-end TS. A couple of suspect areas exist in the East Pacific and well offshore of Western Africa however no impacts to any land masses expected.
CONUS severe weather outlook – no significant severe weather outbreaks are expected through the middle of next week.
Europe outlook – on Saturday, a very deep area of low pressure, 971mb, will be located 275 miles to the NW of Shannon, will have a cold front attached to the low that will extend Southwest to offshore Portugal. Expect very gusty winds over Ireland and the UK along with periods of showers. On Sunday the low will move very slowly to the SE and at 12z Sunday it will be located 200 miles NW of Shannon. Expect a continued chance of gusty winds and periods of showers to much of Ireland and the UK. Best chances of thunderstorms on Sunday will be over Central France to Northern Spain in association with the cold front. Into next week, a series of upper-level disturbances and surface low pressure areas will result in an unsettled pattern for much of Western Europe.
