Enhanced Overtime Availability for U.S. Customs

Flight Pro International (FPI) is excited to announce our participation in the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Reimbursable Services Program (RSP). Authorized by Section 481 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, the RSP allows participants such as FPI to pay for CBP overtime costs at select U.S. Airports of Entry (AOE). This can allow CBP to provide overtime services that would not be supported by their regular funding.

FPI has initially received RSP approval for the following AOEs:

  • Bangor International Airport (KBGR)
  • Birmingham–Shuttlesworth International Airport (KBHM)
  • Brown Field Municipal Airport (KSDM)
  • Denver International Airport (KDEN)
  • George Bush Intercontinental Airport (KIAH)
  • Teterboro Airport (KTEB)
  • Washington Dulles International Airport (KIAD)

FPI will continue to expand its participation in the program by adding more AOEs to the current list.

RSP creates more opportunities to have CBP clearance services available for that late-night arrival or at other times when services may not be available due to budget constraints. Please note that the approval and ability to fulfill overtime request for the RSP are at the sole discretion of each local CBP office, as each office will determine the number of resources needed to perform requested services and the availability of such resources.  Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
