The United Kingdom (UK) has announced a new requirement for traveling to the UK without a visa. Travelers eligible to enter the UK without a visa will soon need to acquire an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA). 

The ETA will be obtained online, and it is linked to your passport. The ETA will be valid for two years and multiple visits. 

The program will begin later this year for a small group of nationalities, and more countries will be added as the program matures.
