From June 11th to 16th, the 93rd annual “24 Hours Le Mans” race will take place. The race is held in Le Mans, France, and is widely considered to be one of the world’s most prestigious races.
A temporary airspace plan has been created, including a temporary CTR LE MANS, (3) temporary TMA LE MANS portions, and a Temporary Restricted Area (ZRT) centered at Le Mans Arnage AD.
Descriptions and details of the temporary airspaces and use of Le Mans-Arnage AD (LFRM) and Angers-Marcé AD (LFJR) are published in the “French SUP AIP 042/25”, which can be found here:

Airports that can be used to access Le Mans Race include:
- Le Mans Airport / LFRM
- PPR is mandatory to operate and parking is limited, CIQ are available
- LFRM airport can not be used as an alternate
- Due to the high activity planned in LFRM, including helicopter flights strongly suggest to us Angers / LFJR airport
- Angers / LFJR
- CIQ are available
- More suitable for bigger aircraft ( GLF / GLEX… ), all services available
- Nantes / LFRS
- CIQ available, long runway, but usually long term parking are very limited
- Le Bourget / LFPB
- Paris is located at around 3 hours drive from the race track, with all services from FBOs and large choice of hotels in Paris
