Fuel at Doha International Airport (OTBD) has recently been a challenge. The primary reason is because fuel trucks actually come from the commercial airport (Hamad International Airport, OTHH) and typically take about an hour to reach aircraft at OTBD.

Refueling upon departure is the typical procedure, so if fueling up is desired upon arrival, please indicate this in advance so that both the handler and fueler are ready to minimize the wait time for the crew.
