From November 3rd, 2025, through March 27th, 2026, London Luton Airport (EGGW) will be carrying out essential resurfacing work on the runway.

During this timeframe, the runway will be closed weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 0001 to 0545 (local).

The last scheduled arrival prior to the runway closure will be 2345 (local), and the last scheduled departure prior to the runway closure will be 2340 (local).

There will be no closures on Saturdays and Sundays throughout this period. 

During the Christmas period (December 19th, 2025 through January 5th, 2026), work will cease, and the airport will operate as usual (on a 24/7 basis).

During this work phase, the runway category will be downgraded from CAT3 to CAT1 which should not have a significant impact on corporate aircraft.
