Slight risk will exist on Sunday along a frontal zone from the Central High Plains to parts of the Mid-MS valley.

Tropical weather outlook – TD 07W, 180 miles West of Andersen AFB is moving WNW at 13 knots. Expect rapid intensification from Saturday through Monday under favorable upper air conditions followed by a slow weakening trend. Good news is that it will not affect the Philippines or Taiwan during it’s life cycle.

Europe outlook – UK met office has issued an amber extreme heat warning for Monday and Tuesday for portions of Southern England and Wales with daytime highs approaching 34C with warm overnight lows struggling to get below 20C. Main weather feature over the continent will be the presence of a the very strong upper level ridge through at least Tuesday however with daytime heating and weak shortwaves there remains a possibility of a few daytime thunderstorms which could bring very gusty winds and brief heavy rain with the high dewpoint air present.
