(June 2025)
The NATO Summit will be taking place Tuesday, June 24th, and Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, in The Hague, Netherlands.
To ensure the safety of the event, there will be restrictions in the airspace and at sea. Most airspace restrictions will begin on Monday, June 23rd at 3:00 PM and will last until Wednesday, June 25th at 11:59 PM.
Within a radius of 93 kilometers around The Hague, restrictions will apply to air traffic. Commercial large aviation can fly here, provided permission has been obtained from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management.
Within a radius of 16 kilometers around The Hague, no air traffic will be allowed except for security purposes and medical emergencies.
A broader restriction within the 93-kilometer radius means that no small aircraft traffic will be permitted at Schiphol or Rotterdam The Hague Airport, as well as at Lelystad and several smaller airports. Exceptions apply within the restricted areas: Police flights, trauma helicopters, organ transports, and sea rescue flights remain allowed under certain conditions.
