Happy Tax Day in the US!

Expect high volume in LAS this weekend in association with WrestleMania 42 on April 18th and 19th. Boston (BOS) is bringing back its PPR requirement through Mid Nov beginning April 21st. Significant TFRS will be present for both LAS and PHX beginning tomorrow through Friday. GA operations at LAS/VGT/HND and PHX will be highly impacted.

Critical weather days/space Weather alerts – none through Friday.

CONUS severe weather outlook – Friday looks to be very active from OKC to Eastern Iowa with an enhanced risk forecast will all severe hazards possible. By Late Friday afternoon expect significant enroute issues as a robust upper level trough will eject Eastward along with a cold front/dryline.

Tropical weather outlook – fortunately Typhoon Sinlaku located 70 miles NW of Saipan continues to slowly weaken and will begin its extratropical transition in 72 hours. It will then become a very powerful extratropical low that will pass well to the East of Japan.

Europe outlook – on Friday, deep low pressure located 300 miles NW of Shannon, Ireland along with a cold front through the central UK to near Brest, France, will produce gusty winds over Ireland to Scotland with a few showers along the front. No significant weather over the remainder of the continent. An upper-level ridge over much of the continent on Saturday will dominate with little in the way of sensible weather. An upper-level trough over the Black Sea and Turkey will help initiate daytime showers and thunderstorms over this region.

North Atlantic Jet stream – on Friday a general zonal flow will continue with near average wind velocities.
