Keep Up With What’s New

NBAA-BACE 2024 Preview Edition:

FPI would like to specifically notify the following three audiences:

1. Attention FlightProConnect.com (FPC) users: FPI will soon be rolling out FPC’s newest upgrade, the “Trip Planner” feature. This enhancement will allow users to perform a multi-airport query in order to cross-compare airports, ground handlers, and a wide variety of other noteworthy data that will impact the trip experience for both crew and passengers.

Click HERE for more details about this exciting new feature. For anyone attending NBAA, please stop by FPI’s booth space #2858 to demo the upgrade, ask questions, and provide feedback.

2. Attention EU travelers: While FPI has prepared extensively for the new EU Entry/Exit System (“EES,” launching operations on Nov. 10th, 2024), one thing remains beyond FPI’s control, which is the change EES will bring to entry and exit processes for passengers.

Manual stamping of passports will now be recorded electronically. While this will almost certainly result in faster processing times in the long run, the initial implementation and transition could result in significant delays, particularly on arrival. See HERE for more details, along with links to FPI’s comprehensive solutions, including becoming certified to connect FPC directly to the eu-LISA system.

3. Attention UK travelers: Recently, the UK announced that all visa-free travelers to the UK will require Electronic Travel Authorizations (ETA) by Jan. 8th, 2025. U.S. nationals, and most other non-Europeans, can apply beginning Nov. 27th, 2024. Additionally, the UK is replacing physical documents with eVisas.

FPI has detailed more information regarding these changes, and has compiled several helpful application links HERE.

We look forward to visiting with many of you in Las Vegas, NV, during NBAA. However, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime regarding the three alerts mentioned above, or any other pertinent topic that impacts your upcoming trip planning.
