If you are planning to attend matches during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, Canada, or the United States, please take note of the following important considerations. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, and planning in advance is strongly recommended to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Mexico

Based on the current 2026 FIFA World Cup match schedule in Mexico, Operators should anticipate increased air traffic and the potential for fuel service delays during the periods identified below. At this time, parking constraints are not expected at any of the affected locations; however, this assessment remains subject to change based on actual traffic volumes and operational demand at the respective airports.

Mexico City Area:

  • Key Airports – TLC/MMTO and NLU/MMSM
  • Match Dates: June 09-13 / June 22-26 / June 27-July 07

Guadalajara:

  • Key Airports – GDL/MMGL
  • Match Dates: June 09-28

Monterrey / Saltillo:

  • Key Airports – MTY/MMMY and SLW/MMIO
  • Match Dates: June 12-16 / June 18-22 / June 22-July 01

The periods identified above reflect the anticipated increase in traffic beginning two days before each scheduled FIFA World Cup match in Mexico and extending through two days following the events.

Canada

The Canadian host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup are Toronto and Vancouver. Operators should anticipate increased traffic volumes at all participating airports, which may result in operational delays, parking constraints, and potential fuel service disruptions.

Toronto Area:

  • Key Airports – YYZ/CYYZ, YHM/CYHM, and YKF/CYKF
  • Match Dates: June 12 / June 17 / June 20 / June 23 / June 26 / July 02

Vancouver Area:

  • Key Airports – YVR/CYVR
  • Match Dates: June 13 / June 18 / June 21 / June 24 / June 26 / July 02 / July 07

USA

The U.S. host cities for the 2026 FIFA World Cup are Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, Seattle, and the San Francisco Bay Area. As with the Canadian host locations, Operators should anticipate increased traffic volumes at all participating airports, resulting in potential operational delays, parking limitations, and fuel service disruptions.

Atlanta Area:

  • Match Dates: June 15 / June 18 / June 21 / June 24 / June 27 / July 01 / July 07 / July 15

Boston Area:

Special event and reservation fees established by airports and Fixed-Base Operators (FBOs) will be in effect throughout the tournament period at all locations and are expected to substantially increase operating costs. To secure parking availability and minimize the likelihood of additional charges associated with short-notice requests, Operators are strongly encouraged to submit handling and parking requests as far in advance as possible. Requests submitted within 24 to 48 hours of the planned operation may be subject to limited availability, operational constraints, and elevated fees.

Local authorities and ground handling providers appreciate your cooperation and recommend that Operators plan fuel uplift requirements and flight operations accordingly to minimize potential disruptions and delays. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be taking place throughout the North American continent, and deserves to be enjoyed by all with as few travel logistic complications as possible.
