OERK cannot be used as an alternate aerodrome UFN. EHLE, Lelystad, Netherlands, will be closed for ongoing works from 10/31 until 11/03. Presidential TFR will likely be in effect for West Palm Beach from 30 OCT until 01 NOV. No overnight parking will be allowed at MMPR (Puerto Vallarta, Mexico) until January 05th. GA arrivals are prohibited also between 17Z and 01Z for several days in November, December and January. A very powerful low pressure will impact the NOPACS this week, might want to be careful with ETP selections.
No critical weather days are in effect through Friday. Space weather remains quiet through Friday also.
CONUS severe weather outlook – a slight risk exists for later on today from East Central MN to West Central WI including the MSP area for isolated large hail and damaging winds. Rest of the week into the weekend looks relatively quiet.
Tropical weather outlook – severe cyclonic storm Arbab, located 530 miles SW of Kolkata, India has made landfall over East Central India and will weaken quickly today. No further bulletins will be issued. Super Typhoon IN-FA, 820 miles Esat of Andersen AFB will likely remain at least CAT 4 intensity through Saturday evening as it passes well North of Guam and Rota in 48 hours. TS Vance, 280 miles West of Manzanillo, Mexico, will continue to weaken over the next few days, passing well to the South of Cabo San Lucas.
Europe outlook – a majority of the continent on Thursday will be dominated by a sprawling upper-level ridge centered from Spain to Scotland which will allow for periods of late-night stratus and fog to form underneath this stable air mass. Cold upper-level low, just West of Cyprus, will help initiate widespread showers and isolate thunderstorms to the extreme Eastern Mediterranean Sea region. On Friday the center of the ridge will be over England with a weak and broad cyclonic upper level circulation just to the East of Naples, Italy. Surface high pressure will be centered over Belgium.
North Atlantic jet stream outlook – a weak upper level trough from SE Greenland to the Azores along with the upper level ridge over Western Europe will highly influence the jet on Friday.
