Beginning in April 2025, E-VISAs Will Be Required For Travelers To Brazil From U.S., Canada, and Australia

(April 2025)

Beginning 10th, April 2025, travelers from the U.S., Canada, and Australia will require an E-visa.

Crew members (along with cabin crew) that have a valid FAA license and are listed on the GenDec will be exempt and Immigration will usually grant a stay of up to 10 days.

Depending on nationality, cabin crew, mechanics and engineers who do not possess a valid FAA license will need an E-visa, which cannot be obtained on arrival. 

Applications for E-visas must be made online at https://online.vfsevisa.com/ at least 15 days prior to arrival, and printed copies should be carried with the applicant just to be on the safe side.

An approved Business E-visa is valid for 1 year.
