eu-LISA to Delay Entry/Exit System (EES) Until at Least April 2025
Flight Pro International (FPI) has prepared extensively for the new Entry/Exit System (EES) for the European Union (EU), including certification of Flight Pro Connect (FPC) to connect directly to the eu-LISA system.
However, France, Germany, and the Netherlands declared that they were not ready for the planned implementation date of November 10th, 2024.
These three countries account for roughly 40% of the arriving international passenger traffic to the EU. As a result, EES will not enter service until April of 2025, at the earliest.
Flight Pro International (FPI) continues to meet regularly with eu-LISA and is working with our vendors and representatives throughout Europe to keep abreast of the latest information.
Please contact Flight Pro’s Regulatory Support team at [email protected] with any additional questions.
