Attention travelers to Tokyo, Japan: Be aware that the RJAA Airport Authority has announced several changes to the operations of the Business Jet Terminal and Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) services effective August 1, 2026.
New CIQ Clearance Hours:
- 0600L – 2345L
New Crew CIQ Clearance Requirements:
- Crew members must complete arrival CIQ clearance within one hour of the passengers’ CIQ clearance.
- If the one-hour window is exceeded, crew members will be required to complete CIQ clearance at the Main Terminal (Terminal 2) instead of the Business Jet Terminal.
Business Jet Terminal Facility Charges:
Flights with up to 20 passengers:
- JPY 440,000 per arrival or departure
- Plus 10% administration fee
Flights with 21 or more passengers:
- JPY 22,000 per passenger
- Plus 10% administration fee
Additional Facility Charges:
- Domestic Flights: JPY 220,000 per arrival or departure, plus 10% administration fee
- Conference Room: JPY 110,000, plus 10% administration fee (maximum usage of three hours)
Operators planning to utilize the RJAA Business Jet Terminal should take these revised operating hours, CIQ procedures, and updated facility charges into account when planning future operations.
