(January 2026)
The word “compliance” can invoke a variety of visceral reactions. Some operators get overwhelmed, some are puzzled, and most feel irritated.
For Flight Pro International clients, the feeling should be “relief” thanks to FPI’s in-house, experienced and meticulous Compliance and Regulatory department, with Rick Snider (Director, Contracts and Compliance) and Jeffrey Basham, (Sr. Manager, Compliance) at the helm.
Beyond providing peace-of-mind to every phase of flight, their team’s expertise introduces innovative solutions that many operators may not realize are available to certain aspects of their flight operations.
In this edition, we’re reminding our audience of FPI’s robust compliance services, providing a few regulatory-related global updates, and highlighting FPI’s latest resource available to operators of all sizes:
FPI’s “Connecting the Dots” (CTD) Educational Video Series (new feature)

In the spirit of sharing information and lending expertise, FPI’s Compliance and Regulatory team recently launched an ongoing video series covering compliance-related issues around the globe.
“Our goal is to reach, and hopefully provide ongoing education to, operators through a video series in addition to the written articles we periodically publish,” states Rick.
- The initial CTD video covering the new Entry/Exit System (EES) in Europe can be found HERE.
- This month’s “Know Before You Go!” CTD edition can be found HERE.
- Future editions will include topics such as the latest dog import rules for the U.S., updates on eu-LISA (as its implementation is fully realized in April), and a variety of other topics.
“While we have a plethora of upcoming topics, we’re eager to address any issues of special interest to our clients,” Jeffrey continues. “So please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly to request a particular topic.”
Time-Sensitive Reminder! Carbon Emissions Reporting
Keeping up with the requirements, tracking emissions, and validating your status can be complex and time consuming. FPI offers a range of services so that you only pay for the services you need for your operations.
Time is already of the essence in order to meet their strict Spring 2026 deadlines; learn more HERE and download a detailed PDF that describes the three European ETS categories along with FPI’s related service options.
EU-LISA EES Updates
The new Entry/Exit System (EES) for the European Union (EU) began its phased implementation on October 12, 2025. As the implementation continues to progress through its phases, the potential for processing delays on the ground increases, as the introduction of EES includes the capture of biometric information.
FPI is already fully certified to connect with EES and can assist with all aspects, including the future addition of the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS). Click HERE for more details and necessary steps to allow FPI to help in this regulatory realm.
The Latest RSP List (U.S. Customs Reimbursable Services Program)
From the initial announcement of FPI’s participation in the U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Reimbursable Services Program (RSP), the list of available FPI’s Airports of Entry (AOE) has been steadily growing with more on the way.
Authorized by Section 481 of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, the RSP allows participants such as FPI to pay for CBP overtime costs at select U.S. Airports of Entry (AOE), allowing CBP to provide overtime services that would not be supported by their regular funding.
