Overflight Restrictions In Place During Paris Air Show (June 16th-22nd)

(Version 1, as of April 8th, 2025)

During the 2025 edition of the Paris Air Show, (June 16th to June 22nd), restrictions will be in place before the airshow begins, from June 9th, until June 22nd.

Note that last minute changes can occur without prior notice.

Paris Airspace will have overflight restrictions and Le Bourget / LFPB Airport will be open; however, accreditations will be needed for every flight.

Le Bourget / LFPB

1) From June 11th until June 19th, between 1130z and 1430z

2) From June 20th until June 22nd between 1030z and 1530z

An additional 30 minute-closure before and/or after those slots could occur. It will be confirmed by NOTAM one day prior to the date.

Expect traffic congestion around closing and reopening times.

We do not recommend to operate close to those hours as an ATC slot could easily impact the flight.

Accreditations:

Accreditations will be needed from June 11th to June 22nd. Each accreditation is valid during the entire airshow.

All accreditations should be requested no later than 7 days before the flight.

Authorization should be requested for each PIC / SIC and aircraft.

Accreditations are requested online (by FPI’s handler).

What is requested:

– The type of flight involved.

– The name of the company carrying out the mission.

– The aircraft (registration, type, airworthiness certificate).

– The pilot (identity and license, including up-to-date qualifications).

– The relationship between the pilot and the aircraft.

By return email, an accreditation number valid for each pilot and aircraft will be delivered, and should be included in the field 18 of the FPL.

Flight plans should be filled NO LATER than 2 hours before the flight and no changes are possible after that.

We also recommend to declare 1 or 2 spare pilots per flight in case of last minute changes, as authorities are not particularly accommodating with last minute changes.

Parking restrictions :

All handlers will experience parking restrictions/closure, as most of their aprons will be dedicated to the show.

Aircraft will be parked on remote parkings, and shuttles will transfer pax and crew from their aircraft to the FBO and back. Expect disembarking and embarking operations to take longer than usual.

SUP AIP AIRAC 047/25 describes all airspace involved, found here:

Paris CDG / LFPG

During the Airshow, runway use restrictions can be in place at LFPG airport to avoid air conflict.

SUP AIP AIRAC 045/25 is describing the use of runways, found here:

Paris Pontoise / LFPT

Usually during the airshow LFPT airport is open to all traffic, including aircraft over 17 tons. Immigration and customs are available; however, this is still not confirmed at this time.
